A winner for Shifting Dreams and a new give-away!

SUCH a great response to the give-away last week! I had so much fun reading through your comments. Thanks for all the kind words and some truly hilarious stories. I loved it.😀

The winner of the signed paperback of Shifting Dreams is… Elaina Roberts!

Congratulations, Elaina. I’ll have your book to you in the mail on Monday. Please email me your address at ElizabethHunterWrites@gmail.com.

Now, the next fabulous prize up for grabs is a signed paperback of A Fall of Water, the last book in the Elemental Mysteries series. I cannot, sadly, send an actual Italian fire vampire with the book, so my signature will have to do. Same rules as last week, open to international readers, you have a week to enter, etc. Just leave me a comment and I’ll pick a winner next Friday.

Ooooh... ahhhh...
Ooooh… ahhhh…

Have a marvelous weekend, everyone! And here’s a little teaser I posted on the Facebook page yesterday from Blood and Sand:

Natalie was trying to take her first tai chi lesson seriously. Really. She was. But the feel of Baojia moving her arms and legs into various positions, then standing really close to move her from form to form was more than a little distracting.

“You should really put on a shirt if you want me to concentrate.”

He moved in front of her and tilted her chin up as she stood with arms stretched out and legs half-bent. “I don’t have many clothes here, and I’m not going to ruin my nice shirts practicing. Now focus.”

She muttered, “Kind of hard to do after that thing you did an hour ago.”

A lift at the corner of his mouth was the only reaction she got.

Have I mentioned how much I love these two?

I adore Baojia! Sooo glad he has his story being told, sooo sad it’s the last of the series. I adore each character, and I’m lucky I found Elizabeth! thanks!

Oh, it won’t be the last book, Michele! I was just saying that A Fall of Water was the last book in the Gio and Beatrice series.🙂 Lots more to come in the Elemental World.

I am very excited for this book to come out. I feel such a connection to your characters – like they’re your friends that you’ve shared with us all. I am looking forward to reading more of your creations. Thank you!

I’m excited about the new book that’s coming out.
I’m reading This Same Earth at the moment and I love the location at the the start of the book because it’s down the street from my home! YAY Huntington Library!!

I’m adoring Baojia and Natalie already, I definitely feel the connection. Just wondering, are they going to have 1 book or more? Baojia has always been my favourite second only to Gio but this book might just put him up there in equal top spot, I can feel it in my bones, or maybe the water😉

I think it’s totally cool that you actually take the time to communicate with your readers. The comment about not being able to send a Italian vampire was too funny. You obviously have a great sense of humor. Thanks for sharing that with us! Can not wait to read the new book.

I have all of the e-books can’t get enough of your writing. Having a physical book woould be amazing, and doubly so if it were signed.
Been thinking alot about that house in the Swiss Alps that Gio acquired from Gavin. It sounds like a wonderful place for a newly created vampire to spend time learning to control their element and quell the bloodlust. The construction of the house sounds unique, It would be interesting to read a more detailed description of this house should you ever use it as a locataion in another book.

You sure do know how to make our imagination take over! The Elemental Series keeps me looking forward to guessing what’s next. I devour your books in 1 day and am currently re-reading to be ready for Baojia’s world. Thank you !

I am very excited abou the new book! I have re-read all four Elemental Series a couple of times now and ready for the next adventure with Baojia! I was very happy that you wrote the follow up to Carwyn’s clan, it gave new light into the old series. Keep it up! Love them all!

I have this thing that when I find a writer I enjoy reading, I read ALL of their works. Et voila, you are one of those writers – I am very excited to read more about Baojia and Natalie, although Gio and Beatrice are still my favorite couple. I loved the Genius and the Muse too – you have a way of writing in-depth characters that I keep thinking about waaay after I’m done with the story. Many thanks and I can’t wait for Blood and Sand!!🙂

Ever since I saw on your Facebook page that you won’t be posting too much because you will be busy editing I have mustered all of the self control I could and have not read the teaser that you posted a couple of weeks ago… If I won you would be helping me take my mind off my urge to read it. Just saying…

Argh I want A Fall of Water so bad. I loved that some of the characters from past books came back and the banter between Ben and Tenzin in this book was fantastic. To be honest I would jump at the chance to get my hands on any of the books in the Elemental Mysteries series, I’ve searched high and low and can’t find anywhere that stocks them in the UK. My mum and I have both read the books and both loved them and we frequently talk about (loudly discuss) them all the time – it drives my sister mad- and we both asked the same question and came to the same conclusion, but we could be wrong. Have Giovanni and Arosh got different coloured flames because of the elements they were sired from? Just curious x

    1. elizhunter says:

What a cool question! No one has ever asked me that before. And the answer is… yes and no.😉 Yes, Gio’s element has a part in his elemental fire, but part of it is individual, too. Each fire vampire would have a slightly different quality. If you read closely, Gio, Arosh, and Brigid all have different scents to their fire, too. Thanks for asking such an interesting question, Rachel!
