Blood and Sand CoverBLOOD AND SAND: ELEMENTAL WORLD BOOK TWO

MAY 28, 2013

Dead women are showing up in the desert east of San Diego, and no one understands why. When the story comes to the attention of reporter Natalie Ellis, she can’t help but make comparisons to tragic deaths she’d investigated years ago. Are these women the victims of a serial killer, or something even more insidious?

Bodies may be piling up in his sire’s territory, but water vampire and feared enforcer Baojia is stuck entertaining the rich and clueless at a club in San Diego. He’s taken his exile with all the grace he could muster, but his patience is starting to thin.

Sparks fly when mortal and immortal are thrown together, and Natalie comes face to face with a reality that was lurking in the corners of her life. Pursuing the truth could cost Baojia everything, including the mortal woman who has earned his grudging respect.

Blood and Sand is a novel in the expanded Elemental World series.

Am looking forward to Baojia’s story! Have read all your books and loved them. Really enjoyed “Waterlocked”. Take your time writing. Enjoy your family and life!

As always you have me enticed on the new book. I really can’t wait to read it. I purchased the Novella Waterlocked to thank you for sharing the story with us early. Wishing for Summer not only for your book but because I hate this cold weather, but mostly so I can read the book, lol. Wish we could read it sooner then that but we will have to wait!

Looking forward to it as well! Been devouring the books during the last month – I discovered them via a paranormal romance blog over the holidays, and now I’m hooked! I devoured Gio and B’s story. Now I definitely need a fix🙂. Thanks for terrific story telling!

    Hi!

I’m well read. No, really… – but I guess not that well read😉. How does one pronounce “Baojia”?

PS – I have read and enjoyed each book you’ve written. You are a fabulous author and we are such lucky fans!

  6. Carol Tressler says:

Elizabeth, You brought the character of Baojia alive. I really enjoyed him in book four, but I didn’t realize he had such a sweet sensitive side. Where are the heroes?? They live in your books.

    Elizabeth,
I stumbled across your works while exploring the “May be Interested” section on Amazon. After reading your Elemental Mysteries series within three days of their arrival, it would be redundant to say that I’m hooked. I began the Elemental World series thinking that it would be primarily focused on Carwyn. Though I am enjoying “Blood and Sand”, I was curious if at any point you would be writing anymore about Carwyn and Brigid? (The fan in me would probably freak at the idea of a Carwyn/Brigid and Gio/B book and(or) series.) Do you see this as a possibility?

Love your work, keep it up!

Hey Travis! Thanks for writing. I don’t have another full novel planned for Carwyn and Brigid right now, but I can definitely see them in a novella maybe? And they’ll definitely show up in different novels as supporting characters.🙂

      Best wishes, Elizabeth
